haha, YUP! That's the only catch (if you go to a random Costco that is.) If it's a wheel you don't really care about, then this is the way to go.

My friend is the manager at the Fair Oaks Costco in VA. They have a bunch of car enthusiasts there that will handle your rims carefully. Ask for Dominic or Andrew.

The idea of a Costco or Sams Club touching any legit wheels.....

If you know someone, great if not, helllllllll no.

Tires Plus in Vienna off Lee Highway just charged me $163.00 to unmount 3 - 19" rims of tires and to mount and balance 4 tires to my BBS Rims. I have no idea if that was a legit price however, I do know that they were right around the corner from my storage unit and those Advans I had on the EVO were as bald as ice and I needed new ones. I put on the Bridgestone Turanza EL 42 RFT 245/40 R18 93V runflat BSW and I am LOL at how they handle. Good thing I am just waiting a week for the 19's to get done and the tires to mounted and balanced.

Typical price is 25 to mount and balance each rim. So that price doesn't seem way out there...

I watched no less than 3 monkeys at a sears take over 60 min to dismount 4 19" OEM tires, at which point I told them to stop I'll take them elsewhere for mounting. Most shops do not have the proper gear to do low profile tires, much less stretched setups. Anyone stretching their tires without a go-to shop is asking for hell.

if anyone in the AA area needs quality/cheap work my buddy has this in his home garage, made for specialty / low profile setups, this fawker can mount anything:

Surprised no one has mentioned... But Frank at Hills Garage will take utmost care of your wheels. He's comfortable with regular up to mild stretches. Normal price at $25 each for mount and balance.

ok so i am buying new rims and i need the tires mounted from my old rims. Costco in Fair Oaks is right down the street if Dominic/Andrew are still working there and arent **** ups.

I heart of a Tire Plus being mentioned.

Is there anything else in the Fairfax/nova area?

^ Dominic is good, he's been there for well over 10+ yrs and won't be going anywhere else anytime soon. He's been in the modding scene w/ me since the 90's

P.S. they might've upped their price to $9/wheel, don't take my word for it though, call and check prior to coming
