i live in stafford where i have my car registered. but i have it garaged in culpeper i got a property tax from both counties do i have to pay both or is this a mistake? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advanced.

 

It's a mistake, I'd say pay where you have it registered. I get the same shyt with a car my son drives who lives in Norfolk.

 

Is it your first year registering and storing it in two different cities? Is the charge possibly prorated?

 

i "garaged" it the end of last year and do not remember getting anything from culpeper last year.
