So add FBI army and swat to the loser group?

On another note how do you all think the corvette forums will take to shin? Much better then this crappy place I'd assume....

Thankfully police officers can't afford corvettes. Only cheap 350zs.

Z forums = folks 1 decade older than you
Corvette forums = folks 3-4 decades older than you, drive 5-10mph under the limit, have "wine & cheese" meets which end before 7:30pm

Then it's a no brainer. Sell the z and get a vette.

C5 vs Mazda 3.

Scott are you going straight to Rockville when you get back or are you going to pa?

I really have no idea when we are getting out. I'm shooting at the wedding so I need to be there for most of it. Worst case maybe we can meet somewhere in rockville or Columbia for a drink or 2. How ever many drinks we can get for $50.

We just need to send someone, maybe Kyle? To get the $50 from shin.

Alberto if bingsoo doesnt happen would you be down for a drink or two with scott?
Anh?
Cindy can Dave go?

Jeff Im pretty busy starting Friday I have my dads Mastiff to watch for 1 week while he returns to the mother land. My plans are pretty much done for this week, as I will have 2 Corsos running rampid in my little home

Shin-why are you so concerned with buying a Vette? Hasnt the Z proved it is too much at times for you (serious Q)?

Didnt you just recently start a new job? Do you really think a young guy with a big car payment and a new job is smart?

Why is a kill section important? What LEGIT cars have you beat with your Z? Judging from your youtube page, NONE.

Well I guess if you can slay Mazdaspeed 3's all day it would be worth it. Fawk yeah.

I would not recommend buying a vette at a young age with a new job, they are still quite pricey considering the age of the vehicles , and they are not cheap to fix ( see corvette tax) .... And if the Z was a a bit of a handful to drive.... The torque of the vette will give you serious issues, if you are not disciplined you will crash it period.

Cheapest one I saw (C6 generation: 2009 on carmax) was around 36-37k, like Zain said....still pricey.

Z, Vette or Sentra, wait till Shin starts breaking parts at the track and reality will hit him fast.

Racing your only car = young, dumb mistake, trust me I speak from experience and didnt listen to those that offered guidance.

Weed I was actually referring to C5's as that's what he mentioned, unless we are taking about a 1997 they are still relatively expensive considering the age of the vehicles for a 2002+ ( the only ones I would consider).

Truth.
Oops, too early in the morning. Would buying a 1997 even be worth it? They would probably be on their last legs by now? In that case, Shin would be running 14's in a V8 muscle car?

Actually a cop traded his Z which is now my z in on a new body vette at work. That's my contribution to this thread.

nah it would run fine, the motors are strong, it just would not some of the nicer features introduced later (Ls6 manifold, better active handling system, 5+ Hp bump, 10+ tq bump)
