Shin-why are you so concerned with buying a Vette? Hasnt the Z proved it is too much at times for you (serious Q)?
Didnt you just recently start a new job? Do you really think a young guy with a big car payment and a new job is smart?
Why is a kill section important? What LEGIT cars have you beat with your Z? Judging from your youtube page, NONE.

Say what you want about my driver skills, at the same time while I may have gotten into an accident in rainy weather while being stupid, I can honestly say I have NEVER (and I mean never) gotten into an accident on the highway, and on backroads runs in favorable conditions, no matter how fast I've gone. I'll leave it at that, cause I don't want idiots to chime in, and claim I'm 'looking for attention', because I happened to bring up speed.
I wouldn't drive a C5 the same way I would a Z. Guess what? No one suggests a young person such as myself pick up a Vette, but I really don't see the issue with it, especially considering that they maintain there value rather well. I could get a C5 Vette for give or take a couple grand more than what I paid for this Z. I already plan to get a beater within the next coming months, so whatever car I end up with (whether it be a Z or a C5), will not be a daily driver for too much longer.

Couple of quick points ( I wont even get into the discussion about you beating the cars you mentioned, but that should give you an indication of my thoughts on the matter) a good condition C5 with decent miles you are looking at about 20-24k depending on the year/options so keep that in mind, its a bit more than what your Z will fetch, just something to keep in mind.
Additionally why would you "drive differently" in a vette? why not adjust the driving habbits in your z?
Third its not an age issue, I got my C5 when I was 21 years old, its more of a responsibility/maturity issue... if you dont respect any car be it a Z/Vette/ whatever you will get yourself into trouble,
and honeslty given your statements and "racing" vids through traffic etc... I dont think you are mature enough for a mid-high HP car just yet... adjust your driving habbits first then move on to something faster or more mods on the current vehicle
also the AMG "sport" you mentioned is all cosmetic... its just an s500 just so you know.

I raced through actual traffic in ONE vid. And yet, it's still all everybody talks about. I already said many times I don't do that anymore. Why are people still talking about this, is beyond me.
The ONLY reason I mentioned cars I beat is because Alberto went off and said that I haven't beaten any legit cars.
AMG might be cosmetic, but that S500 still has 400 HP.

it would have been an S55 if it were an AMG and would have put 20 cars on the Z, it sounds like it was an S500 with the AMG cosmetic package.... anyway I am not getting into the kill stuff , you guys have already addressed that
yea 15k with 70 k miles... also 2001's had ring flutter which led to oil consumption... which is why I said look for a 2002 and up

But even a 400hp real AMG if its heavy would rape you.
If you race a BMW 328i with a Mexican driving it who put an M3 badge on it would you know the difference? Prolly not. I doubt you would care though, and tell everyone you waxed an M3....
