Oh yeah, are we doing dim sum this Saturday? Might push it back a week or stick to a local dim sum place. didn't you say something about an ok place in Columbia?

I'm trying to avoid NVA since we go there damn near weekly and I know we have to go the following week for Linh/Alexis Birthday as with Chinese new year.

 

Red Pearl by the mall in Columbia isnt bad. I mean, its not knock your socks off but it will scratch the dim sum itch. Its usually not terrible busy either. All depends on the day though.

Problem is we are foodies and when its just so so.... it's a waste of time. We'd rather drive an hour plus to a legit dim sum place then to drive 20 minutes and go. Bah not worth it.

If a non asian says its so so then someone who has Chinese in them is going to say it sucks.

So so Dim Sum < < < < Burgers and drinks with the Z guys.

 

I will have to admit Dim Sum is not my favorite thing. Especially for breakfast so my opnion may not be the best. Karens brother in law who is from Hong Kong likes it a lot (he liek the one in Silver Spring better). And they do have some good stuff. Honestly id give it a try.

I can never make it out to the BWW meets due to it being mid week and bad timing for both me and Linh, I never ask for anyone to move the day around.........
