I feel like I'm reading a comic book. The hero [E10] and his new adversary [ND1316] are meeting for the 1st of what will be many times.

Shin, you need to get out there a lil more. Go on the inner/outer loop and find some random ricers to run at 3-4am when there's no other cars around, it's the only way to get better. Once you learn how to handle your car @ 150+ mph WOT, you won't run the risk of killing anyone from a dig @ a red light... esp if it only gets up to 90-100mph on a 2 lane road. Weaving around others then becomes a piece of cake.

Jeff and everyone else telling him to stop street racing its getting old fast.

Some people never stop doing it. Of course IMO there are ways, places and times you can make it pretty controlled vs the risks he takes as we have seen from his videos, but it's up to HIM to want to change. Unfortunately for most young men it takes an accident to scare then away from it, hopefully he lives thru his to learn the lesson and doesn't take anyone else out.

Nothing else to say on that subject that is how it goes 99% of the time. And you ***** know I speak from experience.

I even have a 420WHP car that sees sunlight twice a year for oil changes and only sees more then 1/4 throttle when I fart and my foot slips. I don't go hiding it. We all have our issues.

This is not my section & I'm taking my moderator hat off to respond to this purely as a member of the site -

Alberto… I realize that you're an OG on here, etc. Folks that put others in danger because they want a quick thrill of taking off and racing or driving like idiots on public roads are selfish idiots who should only be allowed to drive mopeds. There is no reason that my wife or child should be endangered by some idiot out there doing something stupid, and there is no reason that they should risk losing their husband and daddy because of some idiot out there doing something stupid.

I know that there are folks in here that think that it's cool to post up videos on the internet of them taking risks because they think that they are only putting themselves at risk, but you never know when something unexpected is going to happen as a result of your recklessness - for example:
- you kick it, lose control, and ram someone else off the road
- you don't see that kid chasing their toy into the road in time since you're speeding
- you think that it's cool and safe to "open her up" on an open road but don't expect a guy riding a bike when you crest the hill

I mention those three events because all of them have happened to me or people that I knew. The idiots putting others at risk came out fine in all cases. In the first case, I didn't die only because my car was fully caged, but I lost a ton of money as a result of someone else's carelessness. In the other two cases, a child and a father were killed.

I know that you think "that will never happen to me, I'm careful", but you or others that condone and participate are putting other people's lives at stake and there is nothing remotely cool about it or acceptable IMO to "advertise" as being okay.

Hey Shin, you know that if you write this from another computer on the same network, your IP is still the same right?

I feel so bad you called me a d*o*u*c*h*e*bag

KAT. I know. That's why when the mods check they'll see this guy uses none of my IPs (IE. not me).

Why would you even call me out like that?

I don't condone people like Shin ever racing he has no self control lol. I know you paid the price for an idiots mistake, I've seen that stuff in person. I've been involved in "issues". I'm not going to change your mind and you won't change mine. There ARE times and places where you can do things and NOT worry about the things you listed. If you don't think it's possible you aren't very knowledgable on the subject. I'm not about to write a novel on how to do it. Some OGs here know what I'm saying is true but most wouldn't admit it online.

I do understand what you're saying. But the above mentioned freeway loops, etc. and the stuff that you see in most Youtube videos, etc aren't within those controls. I agree that self control and maturity is a MAJOR factor. I stumbled across the earlier comments and it all lit a fire for me, mainly because I'm hyper-sensitive about the subject right now.

The thread below is an example of not being within those controls and was the main point of my response. You had been involved in the discussion, which is why I gave you some recognition before jumping into the fray:

1) Racing on a freeway loop - not an isolated/closed/controlled road (even at 3-4am there are innocent drivers)
2) 150+ mph - Unless you're on a one way in / one way out road… you would close on traffic, etc. too fast to react
3) Weaving around others - ??? really ??? do I even need to comment on this

How is that comment even remotely safe/controlled?

I'm not going to battle with you guys over this, because like you said - neither side is going to change their mind.

Out of all my youtube vids, you will find only a pair where I shouldnt have been WOT at that specific moment. I look back now it was stupid.

Im not going to say I didnt do the traffic thing, and think I was bad $hit, at 16 in my first car I did the craziest, dumbest things, I was just an a$$hole. An accident at 19 changed all that.

I think most people would be truly surprised to see how well set up some "things" are, I havent had an accident, or a speeding ticket since 19-no joke. All Im saying is, if you are smart about it, you dont go over hills, around blind corners, anywhere near ANY traffic, even coming in the opposite direction, you dont do it passing side roads/pulls offs, etc, etc.

I do agree what you see in most videos is utter stupidity, and guys who are older doing $hit I was doing when I was 17, but in much more powerful cars are the worst. I get your POV, I understand Ive been there. It changes you for the (safer) better, and thats not a bad thing.

I'm not perfect either, bro - and maturity and lessons learned have changed my driving habits for the "safer" over the years. I did really dumb sheyite when I was younger too, because I didn't realize the danger that I was putting others in - or maybe I just didn't care? I realize that some folks have to learn the hard way and that the problem is to some level self correcting (Darwin awards).

Oh, and I wasn't talking about your vids in particular - just YouTube crap in general.

Just be safe out there folks - and remember that a 3000lb vehicle moving at 100+ mph can cause a lot of damage to other things and people nearby. Anyways, enjoy the rest of your weekend and for the racers out there - please don't kill anyone. There are some consequences that you'll have to live with for the rest of your life.

Sparkle, can you please do a IP check on ND1314 so backstabbers whom I do not address and others can stop insinuating things?

Just because that person logged on from another location does not rule anyone out. I can log on at a Library with an alternate account and it will not correlate to my account.... that does not exclude anything. y'know what I'm saying?

LOL I think somebody finally figured out all you need is 2 different IP addresses and 2 different devices in order to NOT get caught by the IP check.

1- Laptop that uses home internet network?
2- Cellphone that uses wireless 3G network?

Notice how the person capitalized my screen name "BB" when clearly it's lowercase? Some kind of auto-correction/spell check on a... cellphone?

I'll just run 13.7 this fall. I don't like to talk a lot of trash, unlike certain people in this thread. I'd rather post up a video (win/lose), or a timeslip, than sit behind a computer, and..y'know..not race, and THEN proceed to talk about how slow someone else is.

Anyone down for it???
