Hi, I'm the new Shin.
Man you are a funny guy. The only one showing there *** on this post is you and the other overly excited guy that posted up. I was and am having fun. Licks...please! You know zero about me and how I drive so STFU. You somehow have a vision of me weaving in and out of traffic, driving around blind corners sideways, and flying down the road putting people in danger? Do you really think that I could have gone 12 years without a ticket if that were the case? Give it a rest already with all of your ASSumptions.

Am I the "overly excited guy"?? I am a guy now?
OP I go to summit point quite a bit to do HPDE's. I autoX'd a clue of years ago and did fairly well. 2nd in series point's for my class. I also run in the summit point kart leagues. Www.summitpointkart.com. I will be doing most of the HPDE's this year in prep for Fielding a spec Z car next year. You can roll if you want.

conveniently edited hmmm... you yourself admitted you drive aggressively , and get sideways through corners ... So please insert foot into mouth
And your right I dont know much about you, I gleaned enough from your first post to form a decision ....Just another noob that will fade away... Try not to wrap your car around a poll vin diesel

If you are actually looking for events there are tons of clubs and HPDE's in the area that you can join up with.

I didn't remove anything from the original post. I simply broke it down for you.
No foot in mouth, I do like to drive aggressively. It is one thing to pick your spots to drive that way and entirely something else to do what you have ASSumed I do.
Noob...Good one
Yes I was looking to join in on some events or at very least get on a course with an instructor. I will get into something this spring.

Are you still flappin your yap? I know you want to save face, but damn. Look just say you didn't read everything initially and took things out of context. We all make mistakes.

Oh I read your first post, the entire useless thing...I took nothing out of context, just based my post off of what you said.....and Save face? Lol seems you are the only one that needs to "save face" here Shin Jr.
Although I am glad you posted up and brought some life back to this section, thanks shin Jr.

Yeah! You get that this was supposed to be fun from the first post! I feel like I should get you a participation trophy or something.

- So I have spent my share of time at the various drag strips around the VA/MD area and yawn. Unless you have an 800HP Nissan I don't really see the point. Does the mid-A actually drive these cars at track days? I mean like on a course with turns and oh **** I came in too hot situation type track days? Not much these days gets my heart pumping...looking to step up the game. Does anyone else feel as bored sideways in these cars as I do? Don't get me wrong the crazy over-steer in the 350z still amazes me. I can turn this thing so sideways I can almost see my rear tire and recover like I meant to do it. I have never driven a car that can get so out of shape yet hold a line as these cars can. So if anyone is planing a track day count me in!

Seems some don't get the humor or intent of this post and like to be all serious about it, so let me break it down.
1. "So I have spent my share of time at the various drag strips around the VA/MD area and yawn. Unless you have an 800HP Nissan I don't really see the point."
Is it OK that someone doesn't find drag racing all that exciting? Yes if I had an 800 HP Nissan drag racing would be more exciting and I would also need a new daily driver. Why 800 HP? I don't know I was just thinking that my little 250HP Nissan wouldn't be so fun to drag race with.
2. "Does the mid-A actually drive these cars at track days? I mean like on a course with turns and oh **** I came in too hot situation type track days?"
I have been seeing posts about track days at the drag strip and was seeing if anyone here participates in road course or autocross track days. I posted in what I consider to be a fun way, but apparently for some serious guys this is highly offensive "ricer" talk. Shame shame on the new guy.
3. "Not much these days gets my heart pumping...looking to step up the game. Does anyone else feel as bored sideways in these cars as I do? The 350z is pretty slow in it's factory form which mine basically is. The few installs I have done have improved things over factory, but it is still a slower car. So drag racing isn't all that interesting (Heart pumping) to me in this car (See the first point). As for pseudo drifting this thing, It is a very predictable car IMHO. It is easy to set into a turn sideways and put it where you want it. The "I can almost see my rear tire" is of course an exaggeration, but man does this thing get way out there. Other cars I have owned would spin out WAY before this little car does much less recover.
4. "So if anyone is planing a track day count me in!"
Seems pretty self explanatory, but let me be more specific. If anyone who enjoys laughing, driving, doesn't take themselves too seriously, and likes to have a good time driving is planning a track day...Count me in!
I hope that clears it all up for those who like to pick and rant and post down to others on forums. I could have just posted "Does anyone go to track days at road courses? I would like to come out and learn." Where is the fun in that post...ha.

I wouldn't say we are a tight click, ,over the years a ton of new guys have showed up and come out to mid-a events, and a ton of the older guys have moved on to other platforms...
Perhaps a better way to phrase what you said is be careful what you post in the mid-a
Lol mike, blue name only my ***, you were part of the drag racing crew at one point in time... Back in 07 good times haha
