Not sure if you guys know about the GMU Cancer charity event that happened recently. Half of the money went to Aldo (A G guy whose daughter got cancer). The other half was supposed to go to this hospital but the hospital never received any money. Shady! Shady!

 

That is disgusting, if that is true.

 

I think the car clubs that held the event are trying to figure out where the money went and who is responsible. It's gonna get real ugly real quick...

 

the two people I did it with both had issues around mile ten (cramped quads, and pulled groin) I didnt have any issues. we started *** a team and finished as a team.

We were on pace to finish in 3 hours and maybe some change till mile 10 then with thier injuries it slowed wayyy down . ended up finishing in about 4 hours even.

There is no official timing of the event soo its all estimations.

 

they are dropping off the certifed check tomorrow. to the hospital in person...

 

Funny how it had to come down to people pointing fingers, people resigning from their clubs, etc just to milk the charity money out... sad...

 

I have no idea what all happened, I dont really care i just saw that that is what they were doing to fix the situation

Friends/boys became enemies for stupid ass shit reason. Gosh I hate this local car scene.

Yes I agree!! Our main thing was to make sure we all finished!

The temps never got above 48 so the water obstacles were shockingly cold. Allot of the event was spent shivering lol

 

Keep moving and stay warm. Stay still and risk hypothermia. I was always taught that being cold can be one of the best motivators for someone physically. I see you've tested that theory. lol

 

I never stopped the whole way!! It was plenty of motivation for.me lol

Center sections are in should be back on the road soon, waiting on an oil line they ordered yesterday!

 

Im doing Tough Mudder in Sept with a few of my friends, started to train for it.
