Guy my wife works with has a Iron Horse Maverick he bought for around $1000 and used it only twice. waiting for more details, brakes, frame size, tire size, no idea if its a 26er/29er hydro brakes or cable.

I know IronHorse is a legit brand. At least I think.

In no hurry to buy, still need to abuse my Trek 3700 and test out Zains 29er.

Ordered my 2inch hitch 4 bike rack yesterday.

 

They were a legit brand. Not as much now though.

I rode a 29er once and felt horribly uncomfortable. Then again, they don't even make a 29er for the kind of riding I do. Even 650b is a prototype rig for it.

Just reading up on iron horse, looks like they went under in 2009 and the company that makes most of the mainstream Walmart/modells/sportsauth/target bikes owns them now.

Sounds like they went down hill.

$200/300 bikes now. Cool but cheap *** parts

 

Yeah, it sucks because their old bikes were pretty good, but now you can't get parts/warranty for them as well.

 

I love my 29er. Fits me and my style well.

I do not understand what manliness has to do with going to a drag strip.

If you tell me that you need ***** to be a professional rally driver (where they drive 500hp machines through the woods) I would understand.

But a few runs on a drag strip? Not unless you have a 800+hp car.



Again, this does not make sense.

I am ALWAYS more worried when I race other people's cars instead of mine. Since if I crash, I am screwing a friend.
