Just saw this on Twitter: "US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta removes military ban on women in combat, opening thousands of front line positions."

Just wondering if any enlisted/former enlisted or civilians who currently work with the military had any thoughts??? [Also wanted to steer the thread in a different direction before it crashed again]

Seeing as how I live in a shared condo community, I'm sure myself and quite a few others would be concerned. But given your current driving history, it really wouldn't surprise me at all.

He doesn't have any pics of me admitting to a hit and run. How about you take your own advice?

Luckily, the only desert I saw when I was enlisted was the Mojave for training during the very 1st Gulf War. I figure as long as you pull your own weight and can fire your weapon straight...

But I only skimmed this and can't wait to see if this becomes a big news item soon.
