This thread has given me inspiration...I'm going to gold's gym today to see what I can benchpress. One day I shall catch up to Clay.

You've already beaten me. I'm recovering from a slight pec strain. I'm done trying to go heavy and just focusing on losing fat now on.

I lost 20 lbs and am down to 172...I can dunk again (5' 10") and I'm even faster and stronger on the Rugby pitch. Oh and I can do an extended plank for 2 minutes....

Oh did I mention I'm in my mid 30's....haha.

Dude that's inspiring! I'm 5'10" as well but I could barely down the bottom of the rim... Being Chinese really doesn't help. BTW I'm at 170 lbs right now.

im 50/50.. half laughing cuz it is silly.

the other half knows that most ppl laughing at you probably havent been to the gym in a year haha. And that again makes me laugh If benched 325 id tell the world, 405 is alot.

225 is as far as i go OP.. im tall, so the mechanics are bad w heavy weight.. i can still lift it, but i get tendonitis bad easily.. i stick to lower weight and GSP conditioning ruotines now. I like the results.. but thats ALOT of weight to be hucking on an Olymp straight bar.. hows your wrists today? haha.

Yeah man you can do it as well. It's all in the core. I've been working out almost everyday since Nov. 29. This trainer at my gym had a 10 week boot camp that focused specifically on core exercises and strength. I'm more strong now than I was when I was 18 - 19. I also play in a league on Friday nights in Dulles.

I have about 30+ different core exercises I do, but these are some of the main ones.

Bigcloud - I do most of those exercises listed in your last post!! Mens Health Mag FTW!! I lost almost 40lbs from August 2010 through June 2011, went in for minor surgery in June and was on the shelf for months and gained 30lbs back.

Just spent some time with the doctor to get all sorted out and finally back working out on a regular basis again. Dropped 12lbs since lent started at the end of February. Got my diet on point and now the pounds are coming off with ease.

Grizzle - kicks or not, that is a whole mess o' pull-ups.

My wife is a Dr. Oz devotee so she is always getting me to eat new healthier things. She came up with this breakfast recipie that I have almost every day and it is actually awesome. Here it is:

1/3 cup Fiber One Cereal
1 Tbsp Pine Nuts
1/4 cup Walnuts
1 Tbsp Raisins
1 Tbsp Flax Seed
1/2 Bannana
1/2 cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
8oz Greek Yogurt (I use Chobani Vanilla)

You can add a rice cake in for filler if you want too. It fills you up and is like colon blow
