Default Uprev tune

Hey whats up guys, im ready to get a uprev tune on my 350z. But i want to know what Uprev Licensed performance shop would be the best to take it to. I live in Maryland, a couple places i have in mind are Hills Garage, AAM, JE Performance, or any other place that has good experience tuning the 350z.

Thanks

Is there a big difference between stock maps and custom tune for something as basic as CAI and catback?

I felt a big difference, my car pulls alot harder and an overall smoother power-band. The tune is pricey but its worth it, I found out my car was running dangerously lean through the tune also, i had gains of 23whp and 30wtq.

Yes, I understand that stock car will run differently. However, I'm talking about the maps that the UpRev team makes and sends out upon request vs dyno-tuned for individual car.

From what ive been told the dyno-tuning is better because they can see how your car is running real time and tune accordingly. also they can make more power out of it. My tuner also told me that the economy map really doesnt make a big difference all it does is make the throttle not open as wide. The tuned map itself will give you better mpg's. You still get the maps on the dyno from the tuner, the only maps i got were stock and my tuned map. I had a problem with my knock sensor code so i couldn't get the security and valet maps because it took so long. But i will once i get the problem fixed and go in for re-tuning. Here is my results even though it isn't at its full because of the issue. http://aamcompetition.com/n-7936-200...dyno-tune.html

To make a security and valet map are required 2 minutes, no more.
They change rpm and speed limitits, very simple&fast...

hmm guess ill take it back since its supposed to be in the uprev tune. also my rpms sometimes dip to low, i don't think its supposed to do that.

Hills, wouldnt go to AAM they aren't dealers so you need to get the full tuner kit.

I checked on the uprev site to see if AAM were dealers, it showed they were. I think they just became a dealer a little while ago.

Thats news to me for the longest time they were not. http://www.uprev.com/dealers.php not on the list, but they could be now. Most people in this area stay away from AAM because of their history. Hills is pretty much the premier Z/G shop IMO. There are other good ones but AAM has had a very colorful past, and I would steer clear. But your not boosted so it might no be as big of an issue for you.

Edit:
Also not hills does not have their tuner in their shop he is a well know tuner that works with them. If I am not mistaken.

I know Canada is cold and you guys smoke weed a lot but have you never been on a forum before? On the plus side you have puntien. In the section you want to create the thread on the top of the area you will see a box that says New Thread, click that. I would recommend searching first tho.
