Default moving to VA

Hey guys, My wife and I are looking to relocate to Norfolk soon and I was curious how strict the cops are about front license plates in the state. I Live in NY, where license plates are required but the police don't bother me without one. I drive a nismo and really don't want to put one on. I know certain states are ***** about front plates so I was just curious if any of you are able to go plateless without hassle. Thanks.

Why the move? Norfolk and Hampton Roads aren't really that nice of a place. Specifically Norfolk though (Lived there for about 6 years). To answer your question, they don't give a crap about car stuff. I've never heard of or known anyone getting ticketed for that sort of thing.

It's nearly impossible to find a teaching job in NY. My wife was offered a position in Norfolk, and I hate the snow lol. I understand you guys still get some snow in VA but nothing like in NY. We got abut a foot of snow last night and it's below 10 degrees. Out of curiosity why didn't you like living in Norfolk?

Norfolk area isn't that bad, NOVA is horrible. I use to get 2-3 license plate citations a year and other assorted citations. It was annoying.

Gotcha, It's funny how so many states seem to be completely different north to south ie New York, Florida, Maine, California etc...
