I wanted to know if anyone from maryland has gotten pulled over for no license plate because when i had my celica i got a ticket and had to pay $50 and i dont want to put it on the Z. Also i wanted to know if anyone has gotten a ticket for 20%tint or should i just go with 35%.

 

i got ticket for not having front tag.
i have to pay $55 in 2 weeks.
uhmm, and about the tint.
im planning to get 15% .
because i dont care if i get ticket or not.
i want my Z to look good.

I had a camaro before I got the Z and I had 15% tint on the side windows and mirror tint on the rear. I never got pulled over on the road but I once had a police officer wait outside my car until I got back. As soon as i got in the car and pulled out of the spot he stopped me. Guess I had to be "driving" in order for him to legally give me a certificate to go to the MVA and get it certified. I don't think Maryland can give you ticket for window tint. Anyways, I had to go to the DMV in Glen Burnie and some dude with a light measuring gun placed it up to my window and said that it had to be removed. The legal limit in MD is 30% for passenger windows unless you have an SUV. An SUV can have blackouts all the way around other than the two front passenger windows. Discrimination??? I'll say so! Anyways, back to the point. If you have legal tint they place a little sticker on your window in case you ever get pulled over again. If you don't have legal tint, they'll make you take it off right there if you don't want to have to drive back or go home, take it off and then drive back to DMV to prove it's no longer on the car. Basically it's a big pain in the *** if you ever get pulled over. Same with the license plate....never been pulled over but have had tickets left on my window while parked on side street. Damn cops...nothing better to do.

In 1 week I got pulled over 3 times on the way to work for no front tag. 2 warnings 1 ticket no big deal I payed it. I have 20% tint and I have gotten 1 ticket for it and 1 repair order, no big deal, its nice knowing people that can sign off on it....I know have my front tag placed behind the stock grill, looks pretty neat there. Got pulled over last week, the cop saw me doing some fly bys for my friend who was on the side of the road with a camera, and gave me a warning for the tag, and said my exahust was illegal...cops suck.
