Hey guys,
Been a while. My company sent me out on business to butt-**** nowhere for a couple of weeks and now I am back. I see I missed out of some meetings.

Good news is I stopped by Hong Kong and managed to bring back some goodies for the car. My car is still fairly new so they recommended I run it to at least 6,000km before doing anything. I got 99.99% Copper grounding kit (6 wires), a voltage stabalizer, JWT Pop-Charger, and a better rear-view mirror...lol. This should be good to start with. I'm open to all recommendations.

This morning I took my baby out for a spin only to be haggled by some moron in an '06 M5...I think he was jealous that his girlfriend in the passenger seat was eyeing my car and he wanted to show he was more powerful...what a loser!!!

Blackend, got your earlier link. Thanks bro. I don't think I will upgrade my exhaust till after the summer. I've got big plans that require big money...lol So i'm saving for now.

Scarface I remember earlier you mentioned that the AAM spacer was not available in the country and you had to order it from their website. Is that still true?

Wow, I went to Intraco Trading in Sharjah...that place is a RIP-OFF!!!
Dhs. 3,500 for a radiator??? Dhs 6,500 for headers??? Are these guys crazy? I see the same products for a 10th of the price online. Even with shipping I can buy two of the same product (if not more).

arabishe,
Welcome back!! nice to hear you started modding your baby... I'm sure u'll like the popcharger, it adds a nice tone to the car.

about Intraco, I agree they are a rip off. they sell nismo wing for 3000 Dhs!!!! wahaha i got mine for 1700 shipped to Dubai, whatever.... I recommend to get plenum spacer as next, i really like this mod. you'll def feel the difference. I got mine from Sharif@Forged, he's a vendor on the forum and nice guy to deal with.

BTW, we are having a meeting next friday 19th May. last one was cancelled due to some ppl were busy and couldnt make it. so hope we can make this one BIG!! Yorky, you better make your car ready that time...

Thanks Scarface,
I will try and find Sharif@Forged and get a Plenum Spacer. Someone told me to get the Skunk2 spacer but it is not compatible with the strut and i'd have to get it removed. So i'm sticking with the AAM. Plus the Skunk2 is not angled, but does that make a difference?

As for the meeting. I'd have to give you an answer later as I might be going to Abu-Dhabi for the weekend.

Not sure about the Skunk2 spacer, not too much ppl have this spacer plus as you said it wont clear the strut bar. I personally wouldnt recommend something that is not widely used by lots of users and not proven to give nice gains. just stick with the AAM.

NO you have to spend the weekend in Dubai to attend the meet!!! hahaha, J/K let me know what you up to...

Hey guys,
Still haven't been able to find a place to Dyno in Abu-Dhabi. There is some place called QuarterMile in Dubai...any good? Where do you guys do your mods, or do you do them yourselves??
I'm going to be in Ruwais today and tomorrow so cannot meet up. But then again my weekends are Saturday & Sunday so plenty of rest time later.

I recommend Subzero garage in Dubai in alaweer area near the used cars complex. they have DynoDynamics dyno, one of the best dynos in the world! they charge 500 Dhs for a dyno run. here's their contact #: 04-3203264. ask for Mike.

as for the mods I used to install them in my friends garage for free. sadly he closed the garage and ran out of business. Now I deal with Subzero. they are alittle pricy but do professional job.

hope that help.

Oh, nice meeting you Moosa. he's one of the coolest guys I've ever met. man we should do it again sometime soon. I really love to sit and chat about cars with guys like you.
P.S: if you have msn please add me, it would make life easier: zcorvette@hotmail.com

quickie: anyone check out that dalili nav system? i'm thinking about it instead of Nissan's standard one; it gives you real-time trafffic updates; and we could really use that in this city- check it out www.dalili.ae

going to check it out this week... i'll let you all know how it turns out;;;

besides that, how have you boys been?

Thanks for the info scarface. I'll probably head there next week to put eveything in.
This Dalili nav looks pretty cool and has great features. I heard that the Nissan/Infinity nav is actually the best of all cars (stock of course). Is that true. The Range Rover nav sucks, and they BMW uses the same. I've seen the Benz one and that's decent. Samer, update us on your trip out to see them.
