I have had a few questions regarding the license on the cable and whether or not it would transfer to another car, so I wanted to clarify this if you are on the edge.

Directly from UpRev's website they state:

I bought a Cipher system from another user, can I use it on my car?

Yes, Cipher is an non-licensed product and requires the cable to be used. As long as you have the cable, you can use Cipher on a supported vehicle.

I bought an Osiris system from another user, can I use it on my car?

Yes, as long as the cable was properly unmarried from the previous vehicle. If it was not unmarried, you will have to get another license for that cable at a cost of $300. We will charge $100 to build you a new base tune for your vehicle and specific mods. With that $100 purchase you will also get one free eTune.

To summarize, you will not have to pay the 300 for another license and if you have any further questions, their number is (512) 821-9848.

^Osiris and Cipher are FREE downloads, anybody can go to uprev's site and download them, however, you need a cable with license on your ecu to do anything with the programs.

 

Also with this you will have to arrange someone to tune it for you; Osiris standard does not give you access to the actual tuning software. Just reflash/ OBD2 diagnostics. This can be arranged through Uprev directly or any certified Protuner

 

so whats the price from this?...im a little lost on that....
