350z goes down bad
Hey i was comming home down I-85 the other night and along comes a nice black 350z. I had it in 5th gear and he comes up beside me a punches it. So i drop it down to 4th and catch up in like 2 seconds. So we are even now. He punches it first then i punch it and my car pulls so hard on him i didnt even think he was racing. When i get off my exit the guy gets off the exit ramp and pulls up beside me as i pull in a gas station. He follows me in and when i get out so does he. He comes up and says how his car was supposed to be faster than mine which it isnt really. I have a 1994 Trans-Am 6-speed with trick flow heads, headers, exhaust 24 lb injectors, pcm upgrade, ram-air hood. No way he could keep up but some how he just couldnt believe how his new shiny 350z got stomped my a old 94 LT1 fbody...........lol this is great so i had to post it
Your ***** must be so large, to need so much attention.
Yes, F bodies can be faster. So can Porsche Turbos, but you don't see those guys trolling.
Heck, I've got a pickup that will outrun my Z, too.

350zeater, you WT piece of ****, get off our site, if we wanted a fast car w/ out class, which we could drive around in our trailer park, we would probably get rustang or a TA. Your car is a common car, get a life. We have a 350z, you have a car that is barely worth $6,000;

WTF? Trick Flow does not make LT1 heads. LT1 heads are reverse cooled, therefore all the SBC heads won't work on them. 24 lb. injectors are stock on 94-97 f-bodies. And even if Trick Flow made LT1 heads why would you put heads on the car and run a stock cam

Aww..feeling a bit inferior?
I used to have a 95 LT1 Trans-Am. It was pretty much the worst automobile purchase I ever could have made. In reference to your "story," straight line acceleration was close to the 350Z but I really think in the hands of an experienced driver the 350 would have taken you. Also, and more importantly, try racing a 350 around anything that even resembles a curve and all you'll see is fading tail lights my friend. LT1's are for kids who think driving is limited to straight lines.

3. When will you 350Z guys realize that a Z will not hang with an F-body in a straight line, it's not going to happen. Hell parked in my garage right in front of my Z is my friends WS-6 and behind it is my 95 Trans Am. Maybe becuase I don't have my head up my *** I can see that a mid to low 13 second car is faster then a high 13second car every day of the week but what do I know, according to cturbo28 I'm a redneck

When all the Performance mods come out for our Z's i garuntee you above 450hp and a car that compete on supercar levels!

heh - I'm really a kraut, rice and wheat burner. I've got 6 cars, 2 from Germany (83 & 84 VW Rabbit GTIs),2 from Japan (350Z & 95 civic coupe de la slow), and 2 domestics (67 olds 442 W-30 Convertible & 95 Trans Am). I'm like some type of international superhero that can go from being a ricer, to a ****, to a dumb redneck all just by changing my cape .

It is definitely a great straight line fun, and it is nice to have to haul the random thing home from Home Depot in, to boot. Add to that the AWD for snow days, and it is a good secondary vehicle now that I'm getting rid of my front wheel drive GTP in a month or so.
It only has 18,000 miles on it. It has basically been a second vehicle since I got it. I really haven't modded it (do have an intake, but it isn't installed at the moment because the replacement overflow tank leaked, and I needed to put the original back in).
I wouldn't want to daily drive it, because the seats are too short for me to be comfortable in for long trips.
BTW, I looked hard for awhile for a 70 442 convertible back a few years ago. Never could find one I thought would be a good buy.

That's what I wanted one for, just to haul home depot stuff around. Now that I've got some cars that need to be towed to the track I think I'm in the market for a something bigger like a Silverado, I don't think the Syclone could handle the towing. I've only seen one Syclone at the track and I know no one who has one that's why I asked.
What's funny is I've got a 67 Convertible yet I want a 70 Convertible and a 67 Hardtop. LOL - they say you always want something someone else has and never can be happy with what you got, I guess I'm living proof.
