Default I used to frequent that board

I just posted in defense of our Z's.

Poor little LS1's being cancelled by GM and all

I'm waiting for my flame fest over there but they need to be careful. I posted a 12.1 time slip from Sac Raceway and a trophee in my FireHawk when I frequented that site.

Just to let you know, I'd rather have a 350Z than my Z28 anytime. I grew out of my Camaro in about 2 months. Sure the power is VERY nice but the chassis is a POS! I want a solid chassis with IRS and double wishbone.

I have a feeling the threads over at LS1.com will change a year from now.

I noticed your beating me up pretty good over at LS1.

Just curiuos (and not at all trying to be rude) but do you own a 350Z, my website clearly shows I have interest in both as does my membership date start at ls1.com, so I can see both sides ya know?

Peas!!

I wish I was running that clown. Anyhow Fbodies nice strong cars but have any of you guys ever rode in one before? I have I rode in my friends WS6 and I am here to say that thing was very uncomfortable. Never the less very very fast. I rather have the reliability, 2 less cylinders, beautiful car, better resale value and comfort.

Very well said,

I agree on all points and would add in cheaper insurance and better gas mileage. Especially the handling and comfort though, and the dash controls, I love my Z!

Crazy, you know the outcome of that

I agree with Jaime, I will just wait for the TT350Z to come out then switch. You can never go backward on HP!

Hey thanks!

No harm, no foul, I wasn't offended it's all a cyber experience anyway ya know? Binary ones and zero's on a computer screen.

I have some good friends there and hadn't visited there in awhile so it was fun.

i have a 01 TA and have a couple friends with 350z that I can drive whenever.. I like both cars.. both cars have their advantages and disadvantages.. Looks are opinions.. One is mean looking and the other is sleek.. When it comes to comfort, it all depends on the person too. I didnt seem to find the 350 z seats any more comfortable than my TA seats with side bolster adjustments and lumbar.. although the seats in the z28 suck butt haha. To each is his own.. when it comes to power though there is no comparison between the 350z and a LS1.. the LS1 will wax a 350z in any race dead stop or a hwy punch every single time it wont look pretty lol. The 350z does have better fit and finish hands down.. fun factor,, uhh i dunno.. I truly think my TA is lot more fun but thats just me..LS1's are always going to be the best bang for the buck. Sound system sucks *** in a 350 compared to the monsoon 10 speaker 500w in the TA haha.. its all good!

12.1@112.7
That seems a little hard for me to believe. I had a RAM Air FireHawk with much more mods than that, pullies, hypertech, Yank TC, cut out, headers DR's etc etc. Best ET I ever pulled was 12.5 until I got Nitrous.

If you got that ET and trap with your mod list then you are incredible. You must have got one of those "factory freak" cars.

I have a friend with a 01 WS6 that Dynos 327 to the Rear Wheels bone stock!

1.59 to be exact.

I have the Time Slip, I can upload it!

12.21 at 114mph Won a trophee

That was with Nitrous though. Before that I was consistently
hitting between 1.7 and 2.0 track prep in Sacramento sucks and it was hot. So many variables.

12.1 N/A no FI no headers/cam is damn impressive. It wouldn't happen at Sac Raceway, never has.

We have a Z28 that has an LS6 manifold, headers, cut out Hoosiers, pullies Vig TC, and recently a hot cam. He did a 12.3 and 12.4 before winter, low 12's are damn fine numbers for LS1's at our track.

Yep thats the best so far.. I just recently had my Torque management removed and also richened up my car cause it was running extremely lean. I'm hoping to run better than the 12.1.. and this is with full size factory wheels and tires but on DR's and full weight..back seat etc. It runs really good for a dead stop run. i've ran many cars like mine and some with an addition of a cam and even the cam guys have to fetch me .. My dyno numbers before the stall were 338rwhp and 358 rwt and after the stall they are 311 rwhp and 379 rwt
