Does Downshift's #35 run without the plastic cover over the engine? It is removed in one of your posted pictures. I wondered whether that is something that can be permanently removed. Couldn't think of any real purpose other than looks. Sure would make it easier to access the engine.
Does the plastic cover and boxes around battery and master cylinders have any purpose other than cosmetic? It would be much easier to work on...I might even be able to reach the dip stick.
