No, there just being honest. Stock for stock it's a drivers race...add cams and I/E to either car and it should have a pretty good advantage.

Umm.. Its not ONLY this tread, its every tread on the forum that has to do with a mustang. They have to check every single post, 1st to check for holes in the story, and if it checks out then go on to defend the mustang by saying it was close or it was the driver's fault.

 

Take your blinders off dude. The Mustang guys all said good kill. Not one of them is trolling as you said they are. Whether you want them to be here or not isn't going to change anything because unless you're a moderator there's nothing you can do about them except whine which isn't going to get you anywhere. They found a hole in the story and politely asked to have it clarified. It's people like you that believe everything they read as long as it favors your particular make of car and you turn a blind eye to anything else. If no one questioned it then everyone would be believing a stock Z beat a cammed Stang ... and then half a year from now someone like you would be arguing with someone else that cammed Stangs are no match for a stock Z. There's nothing wrong with correcting wrong information. The thread starter doesn't seem to have a problem so why do you?

Ummm.....we were talking about THIS thread. THIS thread was going very well before you stepped in. A story was posted, "good kills" were exchanged, valid questions asked, and good answers given. Heck, I learned something new about Mustangs regarding aftermarket cams. What's the problem with THIS thread?

Again, THIS thread was cordial, tactful, and informative. The Mustang guys asked valid questions and XBS was nice enough to check it out, proving the Mustang guys right! Even though the Mustang guys were proven right, no one is doubting this kill!

Where is your arguement regarding THIS thread?

And please don't bring up the past, or OTHER threads, because if that is all you are going to stand on, your argument holds no water in THIS thread.

That last post makes you out to be one of those kids that {won't add anything here or he will tell on me} back in school. I couldn't care less about the red, green orange card or whatever. yea he says we will race again when he gets gears that way he can see how much they help him by all my friends have been using my car as a benchmark everytime they get some new part they wana race me to see what diffrence it made..i dont mine ill race anyone even if i know it will beat me i race for fun... hopefully by the time he gets the gears i will have an exhaust all i have now is an injen CAI and no resonator getting grounding kit soon hope it helps oh yea and im not trying to diss mustangs in this post i have beat a few and a few have beaten me i think they have an advantage of the roll at high speeds because they dont have too good traction from a take off

Ummm...no one reported that post. I and the other moderators have been spending some more time in here trying to clean up some of the nonsense. I have been reading through all these flame wars and handing out yellow or red cards when warranted. Your post warranted a red card. You got it. And I deleted the post. Nobody reported anything.

Site rules are simple and apply equally to everyone, whether you drive a McLaren or a Yugo or anything in between: Do not insult other forum members. Do not start flame wars with inflammatory posts. No racist or sexist comments. Refrain from excessive use of "colorful" language. That's pretty much it.

You are free to share whatever opinion you have. Just do it within the guidelines listed above. Disagree, debate, agree, whatever...most forum members manage to do it all the time without resorting to insulting or belittling the person they disagree with. I honestly don't understand why this is so difficult. But be warned...the moderators will act when necessary. We don't like to, but it pays off in the long run with much more intelligent and varied thoughts, opinions and information.

I just wanted to say that I appreciated the first page of this thread, and the free exchange of questions and answers without all the hostility.

I was sorry to see it go down hill due to some posts, but I'm happy to see it brought back into shape.

A big thanks goes out to the mods for keeping this place clean and free of those who can't share ideas. Another big thanks goes out to those owners of other cars who visit this site and give us insight into all the other cool vehicles out there.

I've really liked this site since I first started reading it, and I hope that it will become more and more interesting (instead of degenerating into one of those sites people only read in order to get a good laugh at all farcical arguing).

You know what's interesting, everytime some Z owner beats another car they call it a driver's race, but if the Z is beat by another car then it's not a driver's race.
