What's with all these non-Nissan people hanging out here. Don't they have a forum of their own?

I don't mind having guests from other makes and models, but this ridiculous. They show up, call our cars slow, trash our cars, take over posts, and have the nerve to get offended when they get bashed????

Get a life people; better yet, get a forum!!!

 

Man that guy was gay!!! My car ran 12.7 with a 100 shot, it had a few more bolt-on that him, but you guys were right if he only put 1 car on a 350Z with nitrous, there are some problems!!

 

Don't worry about all these mustang guys coming over here and talking trash, they're not hurting our feelings. They are just further tarnishing the childish image of mustang drivers out there.

 

I'm with you on this Cobly. I have no problem with "non" Nissan or 350Z owners on this site. It should not matter what you drive. If you have intelligent contributions to post, then come on in.

It was just the one guy guys, and he's banned now, so no sweat.

I've hit a few roadcourses with cars, and the strip a few time with cars. I've hit a lot of roadcourses with bikes, and the strip every weekend for about half a year with my first bike. My advice for going to the strip is what anyone will tell you, 60 foot times, 60 foot times, 60 foot times. Everything past the first 60 feet is just not missing shifts (for the most part, for instance if you're car is real peaky like an S2000, you want to take that thing as close to the rev limiter as possible to keep the revs up between gears, etc, that kind of stuff). Just takes experimenting with what RPM to launch at mainly and some fancy gas/clutch work to keep from bogging.

 

I am not sticking up for the guy that started this post, however if was banned like you said for what he posted in this thread then that is pretty weak. I have seen a lot worse here and didn't see anyone else get banned.

It is funny how people only read what they want to read. Everyone keeps saying that “dude you only put one car on the 350Z with a 100 Shot”. I read the post I do believe he said the 350Z got the move and at the end of the race which was at 100 mph he had 3 cars. Still not the best results for a car that has a 100 shot but a far cry from just 1 car length. Since if he is running low 13's in his mustang 0 - 100 is less then a 1/4 mile run I am sure it would have gotten worse if the race continued. BTW the 95 GT started out as a high 14 second car at best.

Main point of my post is I don’t see why he would have been banned. Warned maybe but banned. He could post could have use more tact.

Another thing regardless of what all the 350Z owners think it benefits this forum to have other car owners here. LS1.COM would not be what it is today without other car owners. I think the have 39,000 registered members. Same with stangnet.com and corvetteforum.com.

Selective banning is weak. I think you should hold everyone to the same rules or don't have rules at all. Maybe you need a disclaimer stating that only these rules apply to non 350Z and import owners.

Like I said in my earlier post much worse has been posted on this forum without getting people banned.

Yes he edited to say he was being banned for starting trouble he didn't edit what originally post. I read it before he was banned and the post still looks the same.

I am just saying if fastford95gt was a 350Z owner and was talking trash about Stang and he wouldn't have been banned. But if you have rules they should apply to everyone.

All he did was post a kill story just like many of the 350Z owners here have. His post wasn’t any worse as far as trash talking goes then any of the other kill stories I have read. The only difference is he was not driving a 350Z. That is just sad.

 

It was his attitude. He came here with nothing more to offer than "na na na na nah na" stuff, and had nothing of value to offer. He just wanted to make himself feel superior.

If you read through this section, you'll see several reasonable posts from owners of other cars that have beat 350Zs, but have completely different attitudes. Yes, there may be some flames back and forth in some of them, but the author's in general didn't have the stupid attitude of this guy, so the posts remained.

We have nice domestic owner posters who really seem interested in Zs as cars. Crazy Bosnian is the first name that comes to mind there, but there are others. Those guys are cool. This guy came only to troll.

Yes, there are some threads that are unrealistically biased toward the Z, but heck, this is a Z board. This isn't a Mustang board. Free speech is not required on a privately owned board

 

Agreed. Try posting this on a Mustang board and see what kind of reponse you get...

I was out crusing on sat night when i got stopped next to a '95 GT and he started to rev against the limiter i'm like ok so i hit the switch for my zex and weighted for the light to change. he leaves first before the light changes typical redneck. so he got the jump but i put a car on him by 3rd and i shut down at 100 he was 3 cars back i thought they were fast all mighty 281cid V8 i guess not.

 

good point. if any of us z owners said that on a mustang forum...we would have been banned just as fast....if not faster. also...there would have been many more insults thrown our way. i respect all the non-z owners that come in here and back us up over their counterparts with the same car. they are actually thinking like humans...not a clan. come on now people!

 

Okay I read things like that all the time on Stangnet. Corral.net ls1.com supraforums.com, rx7club.com and no one every gets banned. fastford95gt could have used more tact in his post I will agree, but what he posted in comparison to what other post here did not warrant being banned, warned yes but banned no.

Bottom line there are many people here that have bad attitudes but if they drive an import they are safe from being banned. I'm not going to start posting names of others here that have gone as far as call other members cars a POS and name calling. But it happens just about everyday here and those members are still here posting.

The fact is if he wasn't a domestic owner he would never been banned. I guess the rules don’t apply equally with everyone on this forum.

 

Dude that is so untrue it happens everyday. You would not have been banned the worse thing that would happen is your post would have been locked. Hardly anyone gets banned on the other forums I browse and I browse a lot of them.
