goin down to visit my cousin to head over to a dyno day over by fremont. Just cruising along at 60mph and the mustang passes me up and cuts in front, then flashes his hazards. I come up and pass him then cut him off too and flash my hazards. I wasn't really in the mood to race cuz i was trying to explain something to my friend. Then he comes up next to me.. probably a mid 20's Filipino guy... then give me the thumbs up. My friend gives him the thumbs up for me and he starts counting to 3. about 60mph right now.. then i downshifted to 5th.. didn't really floor it though. He accelerates and has me by about a hood's car length the whole way. We cut it at about 1/4 mile and just gave each other thumbs up. If i downshifted to 4th or maybe even 3rd.. i woulda got him IMO. I don't think he was really pushing it that hard either.. so yah. Just for fun

EDIT: after posting this thread and then seeing the thread of the RSX guy who died racing in Florida... makes me think twice nowadays how life can end in a blink of an eye

 

Took plenty of them on the freeway - it's not hard.

0-60 it's a closer... 60+ you have him.

Also - you had your friends weight in there too
