1999 M Coupe VS. 2003 350Z (results....)
well, today me and my buddy found a pretty open highway. made a few runs at 40 and 60. from our race, no one seemed to pull on anyone. when i ran him with a 200 lb passenger from 60, i pulled on him very slowly. the passenger got out and we took it from 40 and 60. no pull, no walk, nothing. pretty much dead even!! i wouldve thought that something would happen, but surprisingly it was very even. the m coupe weighs about 3131 with a 130 lb driver. i know that the z's weigh about 3200, but is this with or without driver weight? if it is without, then my added 120 lbs should be about even with the 240 hp that the m coupe has. we didnt race from a launch cuz we are both still novice drivers. anyway, once i get better i will race him again... until then, let me know what your experiences are with those m's. i'm also supposed to run a 97 m3, hopefully it will be a better result.

no i was suprised, but when you think about it, it sounds right. the 200 lbs makes a lot of difference. we are gonna go at it again this time from a stop.... .hopefully i will get a jump or maybe he will lose traction at the beginning.
