Their 350Z is one fast little sucker, and one loud one at that. BJ, it was great to meet you at Mid-Ohio, I'll probably try catching up with you at VIR in October. Good luck at the race this weekend!

This weekend should be interesting. I think the Z's great handling will shine at Homestead. We are excited and have been working very hard on the car. It was great meeting everyone this past weekend.

It doesn't look like there is any TV coverage on Speed. Does anyone know if they will show it tape delayed? Good luck BJZ!

There wont be TV coverage for homestead.

 

jmark- I will recieve them on Monday. I hope to scrub off my RE040s this weekend at VIR. If the weather is nice next week, I'll Zaino and take some pics.

 

That's weird.

 

The Z was 5th in class in the first test session this morning. Next session is at 11:00. Qualifying this afternnoon.

 

The Z was 4th in class in the second session. One more practice this afternoon then qualifying.

BJ's Z finished 7th in class. Curious to hear his take on the cars progress against some very stiff competition.

 

Well it was great to meet BJ and the crew they were great and took the time to talk to us and tell us about the car and their mods. BJ was cooking out on the track, he made a beautiful pass on a Bimmer and left him in the dust, he was up to 3rd I believe at one time.

Yea I think BJ started the car and it ran with the leaders till its pit stop. I was watching his times and the car stayed strong throughout his stint. Ran competitively with the lead pack. After the pit stop the car dropped back. Miami isn't the best track for the Z I suspect. Probably be stronger at BMP & VIR.

 

Yes BJ started the race and was really going for it, but after the pit stop I believe they were like 3 seconds off the earlier pace.
