So what are you implying by the title? That when we lose we act little girls or something. I would wager to say that out of all the street races Ive had, that behavior is more evident in the "ricer" world. Not that I havent run into some sore losers on the American side. Just from reading your posts on ClubRSX I would wager to say you are just trying to make a statement about American car owners, rather than show a race.

Amazing some of the excuses people come up with when they lose (BTW, it's lose, not loose). Right up there with the ricers who refuse to race if they're "not in the VTEC yo" or the the guys that ***** about being down on ci's or cylinders.

 

He was just joking around because people always assume that its just us lowly 4 banger japanese car owners that act like that. It's funny to watch some of the big dogs do it too . But if you were gonna make a statement about domestic owners, all the gt owners i've ever raced have been jerks, not saying they all are, just the ones i have had the pleasure to run against.

LOL, it was 1988 and I had a Civic CRX Si, I raced a guy in a Fiero GT (or whatever it was), the V6 Model. The mags timed these cars VERY close.

We raced 3 times, I won the first, and the next 2 were really close. He says "well since I have a 6 and you have a 4, I win, and that solves it"....I was like "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat, you should be embarrassed that you got beat by a 4, meaning-YOU LOSE"

I wouldn't really call that mustang a big dog. His car didn't look that impressive to me at all. Just because he has a shift light doesn't mean the car is modded to the hilt. Heck, my car has easy potential for low low 11's on slicks and I dont even have a shift light in my car.
You can tell that guys car really isn't all that fast just by watching the car, absolutely no weight transfer at all, front end didn't even lift when he nailed it..actually you couldn't even tell that much by the sound of the motor that he had it floored. Probably just an exhaust, minor bolt on 5.0 mustang that the owner "thought" was the fastest car on the road just because he had flowmaster mufflers and a shiftlight/monster tach.
That would be my guess.
Heck, I completely destroyed a 3rd gen rx7 on the highway last summer, you should have seen how that guy acted..made this guy in the white mustang look like a saint..so it goes both ways, domestic or import.

Well you have to understand the "big dog" comment was made in relationship to my car but then again, most cars are big dogs compared to mine. Yes, i wouldn't guess it was souped up at all, probably doesn't even have nitrous. I was just saying it was nice to see someone besides a young kid in a civic or sentra act like that.
Does anyone know what was racing the 5.0? It looks really high off the ground, like truck or SUV height, but i may just be seeing it wrong.

Actually it was a newer chevy, 6.0L swap, with a whipple SC, and a 50 shot. Either way, thats some pretty sad excuses. He shouldn't be making excuses anyways. You can tell he scans the forums too, with the "If you ppst that on the board or whatever, your *** is in deep $hit!" I've never really heard any "domestics" excuses, but when they do, I guess the go all out!
