Race a Z from 80?.. Yea if you can call it a race... aint stock buddy.

i think its called interstate racing by most people..but some people dont consider that racing.
from a stop i know i'll lose to a modded vr4 b/c of the awd advantage.
i know i can beat a stock vr4 or a lighty modded one from a roll.
that is just from my experience.
next time i run into another one..i'll make sure i bring a video camcorder to show u guys.

95% of your 1/4 mile time is decided in the first 1/8 mile. What exactly makes a 1/4 mile track the "big boys" track? The 1 extra shift?

According to the math on my timeslips, it's closer to 60-65%. A one-eighth mile track is no more a legitimate dragstrip than a half-mile track would be. What's next, a city block track, race to the end of the driveway? Hell, on an eighth-mile, I could put in a set of 5.30 gears, and beat 99.9% of the cars that show up, what would that prove? Alot can happen in that second 1/8 mile, both mechanically and with the driver, and that's what separates the men from the boys.

I'd personally love a 1/8 mile track.

Personally I like running 1/4 mile b/c that extra distance is where my car pulls the hardest.......however I would have to agree that the large majority of elements that factor into a 1/4 mile time such as 60 ft. etc. are ALL decided within the first 1/8 mile.
