I've been cruising in my Z for like almost 30 minutes every other day. And i almost always see this same blue wrx with a downpipe driving down the same "strip". A week after i got my Z, i had about 800 miles on it, and was still breaking it in. And i talked to the blue wrx, he wanted to race me, but i said no, and he was cool with that. I asked him how many horses he had and he said 288 at the wheels, and i was like: "I have no chance". Last night, i met the guy again and we stopped and chatted. I asked him what he had in his car, and he said a "single turbo set up" (turbo name starts with a V?(wrx owners help?)) and he was running 19 psi, he said his car could handle up to 25 psi(can they handle that much??) And he also took it to the trap and only ran a 13.8, he said that his factory clutch was wearing the times down, and only had a 2.1 60 ft. time. He said he should have had a 1.8 time. The Z does run close to a 13.8, barely, like a 13.99? I'm thinking i should race him and see how i do. Probably not from a roll(awd will kill me), well off the line he will kill me also. But i'm wondering how i will do, he told me that after 4rth gear the car really starts to "suck". I'm thinking if i play catch up with him up to 80 mph, i can start running almost even with him?

Thanks for the info cariza. Yeah, his factory clutch is really slowing his times down, he said he was planning to replace it next month from the last time i talked to him. You have a FI is300? what's it run in the 1/4?
