mpower and I met up tonight Had a good meal, talked Z's, and even went by the Nissan dealer that mpower works at and checked out the Stillen install he did on a Z they are selling!

I took photos of this and will be posting them up in the AM when I am less inebriated. Cheers!

Those are some of the nicest drag pic's I've seen! Great job! I personally like the 1/8 mile tracks. I'm one of those guys with the C5's but the 1/8 mile IMO is more competitive and can be won or lost by the launch. I've lost to Honda's on the bottle because I just spin my tires. Very humbling. As soon as used 350Z's hit our dealer, I'll be building a new drag car.

 

hey, I live in rincon about 30 min. outside savannah. I used to go to that dragstrip all the time. I wish they would take some care of that place! anyways, I have a 91 300ZX 2+2 and I'm getting a SS touring in October. I would love for all of the Z owners (old z's and new z's) to get together one day and have a car show and cruise. That would be so sweet!

 

I lived in Rincon about two years ago. No disrespect but that place sucks. There is not $hit to do. How far is the drag strip from Rincon?

LOL! It's great to see that old place again. My friends and I used to go to that track back in 1995-1996 and race our Civics and CRX's. I even noticed the VIP'S Electronics sign there, he's there on Abercorn right? Used to know a few guys who would hang out there.

I used to live in Savannah before I joined the Air Force. I grew up in Hinesville actually. If I'm not mistaken, they built a new track there in H-ville, maybe you Savannah guys should check it out!

One of these days, I'll move back to the South--Washington State is too damn cold and rainy for me!

i agree.. awesome pics.. what settings did you use syf0n? In terms of shutter speed and stuff?? The Z looks freagin nice at night!

 

I didn't take them, obviously...I was driving ;-) Shot with a Sony F707. My guess iws that the shutterspeed was somewhere between 1/8 and 1/2 of a second.
