Default begging for bolt ons O.o

Let me start of by saying im 18 living on my own and in the process of getting money together to buy a z.

At the moment I drive a 97 gst eclipse, first car, simple mods 3" turboback exhaust/Greddy BOV/ k&n intake/ evoIII turbo etc........

Ive ben lurking on these forums for a few days and came to notice theres not much you can do without f/i. Everyone has different opinions on weather intake or exhaust help at all.

I absolutely love this car my boss drives one an 03 stock and it hangs right with me. But my cars comming on 13 years old and want something fast and looks great.

Just hopping someone can correct me or set strait how to do a proper bolt on built. sorry if theres identical post to this

i like all the bolt ons i put on my car, spent over 5k on bolt ons and it just isnt worth it. just save and go f/i imo, and im sure alot of others will tell you the same.

in all i would recommend using the search tab, and spend a little bit more time, because there is a BIG post on doing any kind of Z. if it is all motor or fi.

Yes there are plenty of stickes and threads that discuss the basic bolt ons that are good to do when you get the car.

My opinion... decide what you want from the car, power wise, suspension wise etc. Power wise if its north of 370hp...I'd say save and go F/I... Its sad to say but this motor does respond well to some bolt ons but you can spend tons on bolt ons and reflashes and not really pull out the numbers you'd think you would get. some bolt ons and a single turbo kit should help yield some nice power!
