Yeah I was planning to build and piece it together over the summer and do the swap during winter.

Just like they have been saying, re-evaluate and determine if it is an all or nothing build. I made the mistake of a "Partial Build" only to have to go at it again to complete the project (and correct errors made). If your not looking for monster NA numbers you'll probably be happy with a balance, hone, and deck clean-up. But if you do want to go after the 300+ figures do the homework and ask questions, you will find the guys in this forum (or for that matter this thread) will be an invaluable resource.
