Depends on your goals, low-end torque levels, desired RPM at cruising speed, etc. It's a dedicated drift car and your LS2 probably has plenty of low-end torque, so I would say get the 3.7 since it's easily available or maybe the EVO 3.9 if you can find it. The 4.08 and 4.11 are probably too much to be usable with your power.
It's was a manual so it has the stock 3.53. My s13 had the 4.08 and was pointless to drive around and for autocross but loved it for drifting. When I drove the z at the track it was really hard to get used to the gearing!! So I'm stuck between a 3.90 and 4.08

My vote is 3.9 then. Seems more suitable for you and drifting

Well, I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I got almost half of the box behind the seats out! And I got my stance coilover installed! Working on making a switch panel and something to hold my gauges in place!

So i decided im gonna go with the 4.08 gear, as i talked to a few guys and said they recommend the highest gear i can get since i have Camaro t56. So i hope to order that soon! Also i have appointment january 6th to drop my car off to get some stuff added to the cage to make it FD legal!

I also finally got the car together just see what it would look like before i wrap it!

I also decided on this color! This is the exact color as this is vinyl too! Ive always wanted orange!

Here are a few pics from getting the box out behind the seats, still have some cleaning up to do to make it nice! I think i lost around 100lbs just from removing all that!

Well got the interior completely stripped and ready to drop it off this weekend to get the cage to FD spec! Going to get the rest of the sound deadening off tomorrow.

I also decided to go with the 4.08 final drive gear! I will be ordering that soon!

Well had some bad luck getting my car to the guy doing my cage. Woke up early to head out, get 30 mins away, got some fuel and pull out of the gas station and I notice a wheel wobbling on the trailer. Bad wheel bearing. Take it to a trailer, shop got some new bearing put in, go to start my truck and the fuel pump went out.. How is that possible? lol So pulled the bed and got a pump in and finally got to drive 2 hours and drop off my car! Picking it up next Monday!

Well the car came with a roll cage in it and just my luck the main hoop was too low so instead of adding door bars to the old cage had to restart. I hope to get the car next week! I'll pictures as soon as possible!

Alright.. its been a little while. I got the car back from getting the cage done! It turned out really good!! Here are some pictures of it.

Tonight I worked on getting the dash in and I also cut the door panels to fit the cage! Ill post pictures of them installed.

I also had some ls2 valve covers and coilpacks from the previous owner. Which I noticed the coilpacks are mounted a little different and they look cleaner. So I swapped them also.
The left is ls1 coil pack and the right is ls2.

What type of paint do you guys recommend to paint the cage? like brand...

Love the cage, but I would have mounted the wheel intrusion bars further out so you could have mounted a dead pedal to it.

Alright guys, just a little update!

So since the season is about to start, I wanted to make sure I was prepared! I wan the car to be as reliable as possible! So I pulled the trans and replaced the slave cylinder, clutch and pilot bearing! good thing I did because the pilot bearing was bad! I heard some noise before thinking it was the throw out bearing but it was the pilot.

Just for your guys information getting the trans out took 35mins! But getting the bellhousing out took a couple hours the first time! As there was no where near enough room between the fire wall and bell housing, so we had to lower the engine and crossmember... I also got the rear end out and a local guy hooked me up and did my 4.08 ring and pinion for only a $100!! I got everything back in! Just waiting on one more piece! A local guy in town works for holley and there giving me a AWESOME deal on the holley mid rise intake! So I posted my fast 102 sold it in 5 minutes! So I gained some money and cooler looking intake that's not plastic! Should actually be in today! Then ill be ready to test it out this week! there will be a video!!!! Oh and I went with a MONSTER level 3 clutch! I will be ordering my cosmis wheels in 2 weeks and also my vinyl wrap! First pro-am event will be April 12th! Here are couple pictures!

AMSOIL EVERYTHING!

You can cut that rear strut brace since you have a cage. Also most people myself included, use Hotchkis Sway bars.
