New 350Z owners, read this before doing any modifications to your Z.
cool, but how about an update? There are some universal truths in the original posts, but we are in 2010 and many mods have been proved/approved/disproved or simply turned out to suck...
other than that, great post...

I know I'm a little late to this party but I've only been on this forum a short while and I found this great post! Now I am new to the Z community but not to Nissan and as such I realized that I recognized your name from somewhere. I won't mention any names but I am a member of a certain other Nissan forum and that is where I saw this. Anyway absolute great post to give noobs a great sense of direction. Thanks so much for your time and effort!!
thanks this helps alot.... mostly being cause it takes me too long to decide on what part goes on my car im very **** when it comes to just dropping parts on my car lol its not GranTurismo or some video game where you can just blow money like its on trees .... and I totally agree its a MUST LEARN YOUR CAR FIRST BEFORE JUST DROPPIN MODS ON IT lol
This is my first time on a chat line of any kind. It's been ten years sense my last Z car. I'm so happy to say that I'm back and there ain't nothing like a Z car. I had a 3000 GT for 6 years. Nice,"No...." "Great" car but nothing like a Z car.
1.7.2012 I picked up a 2004 350Z in great shape. Looking forward to some road trips and meeting up with some of you local Z car owners.

Jeff, awesome read. I have a 2005 convertible with charcoal interior. The paint around the temperature and radio control is fading. Without having to replace the dashboard do you have any suggestions in correcting the minor flaws? Thanks
Hey, everyone I'm new to the Z community but I've owned Nissans before, they're great stuff. I'm located in NorCal, I hope you guys are local, I would like to do some car meets and exchange knowledge.
Okay so here is the deal. Bought a z. Runs fine, oil is fine, doesn't over heat, but when I'm in higher gears at high tons and "floor" it I get a cloud of white smoke and I'm wondering if it's normal, oil, coolant, etc.
Just joined today and this is the most formal forum ive been on. Got my Z a month ago (2003 pikes peak pearl touring) and love it. Literally my dream car. Anyway....... i like this thread cuz it breaks everything down and gave me some knowledge. Which is why i joined, to learn about the Z. Thanks.
maybe it's the A/F ratio bad, OEM ecu, clean/new sensors?
you should try to create a new topic asking this, or even searching thru the forums for answers, i'm still fresh here, and still have a lot of questions, but we're getting there...
