Appreciate the response very much!! Just New to forum and wanted to make post introducing myself and my car. For some reason it stated that my post was waiting for admin approval..?? I'm gonna try again. Thanks again for the help
What prefix did you choose? 'No prefix' or 'NSFW' ?
Great boildown for the thread. You've condensed a lot of info into a somewhat shorter version to save us noobs from repeatedly asking the same questions and pissing off the veterans here. Thank you
There is a guy on line every once in a while who goes by the name of HREwheelmaker. He is Bob at HRE wheels. They do custom wheels measured to each car. He is the best source I know on wheel fitmit. If he will answer your question you will be a lucky guy beczuse he knows his stuff. . Trust me, he is an expert on it.

whats the biggest tire size u can fit on the stock 350z rims I believe they are 9" wide n the back but im not 100% sure
Hello, my name is Eliot and this week I bought my first 350z, I saw a rear bumper that I would love to buy but I can't find it, I would appreciate your help, thanks.
Being a new , to me, 350Z owner, your article gave me a lot of insight as to where I should start. Although you wrote it some time ago the basics are still the same. Greatly appreciate your insight.
As of right now i dont have my 350z yet, with finances being tight i decided it would be best to actually plan it all out first that way I dont end up like some people I know whose cars have amazing potential but they just werent financially ready for it. That being said I read through what Mic had posted about how to go about putting mods on. I know that stock the 350 can put out close to 300hp so my goal is to shoot for 4-500, my budget is around 4-6K and I am just right under that at the moment with getting everything. Ive broken my build process into 5 stages.
First stage is suspension and wheels/tire, I am going with Megan racing 1.25" front and rear springs, TEIN EnduraPro Plus shock absorbers and 20mm wheel spacers.
Second stage is transmission, I plan on getting a McLeod Street elite clutch kit and a short throw shifter, I figured that before I even think of putting 100-200hp to the tranny i should at least get it to the point that it can handle it.
Third stage is mainly air intake, I plan on getting the Kinetix V+ Intake plenum and a Injen SP cai then going the complete opposite way and changing out the wonderful plastic valve covers for aluminum ones.
The fourth stage is where I plan on bringing in a new fuel delivery system but I am stuck on what injectors to decide on and how high of a cc I should go. I had seen on a different thread someone had said that starting out 450cc injectors would be fine, was hoping to get some clarification on this, like I said i am only trying to get at most another 200hp. Also havin trouble choosing a fuel pump as well, I already have new fuel lines and rail system in mind.
The fifth stage is getting all that lovely hot air out, I plan on getting a Borla headers and replacing the exhaust valves and possibly slightly bigger pipe from the cat back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I do apologize if all this couldve been answered in the FAQ thread..

Stock hp at the wheels is around 240 depending on the dyno.
400-500hp goal? What's your plan for FI? Otherwise, you might break 300 staying NA.

At first I was thinking I wouldn't need FI but after somemore researched i realized that that was a pretty lofty dream. Im thinking now for FI I'll slap a turbo on it.
Realistically, you need to have probably around $15K-$20K saved to buy a Z and turbo it. You're probably better off buying someone else's turbo'd Z and hope it was done right.
If you're just after HP, then it's a better idea to get something else. The Z33 is not about raw power.

I'm not looking to buy something that already has the work put into it. I am wanted something that I can build and call my own.

Sounds good. I hope you've got some disposable income to first purchase a good starting platform and then go FI. Read up in the build threads in the FI section. Make your own thread and document the journey. Good luck.
