Red face newbie z questions

i might purchase a 2003 350z sometime soon but i have some very newbie questions.

-what are the TSB's for the 350z? i believe 2003 was the first year model so i expect there to be some "flaws"

-are staggered wheels a must? suppose i want to upgrade to aftermarket rims and tires but do i have to go staggered? im coming from a honda background btw..

-what is the differences between the models?

That's pretty much it for now.

do a search on tire feathering.

do a search on models.

use the search tool, you`ll find the answer to 99.9% of all general questions regarding the nissan 350z.

oh, and welcome to the family

for the tsb's and recalls go to nissanhelp.com easy to navigate from there.

about the stagger. if you want to utilize the cars computer and VDC/TCS capabilities then the stagger is necessary. nissan says .5-.75 inch with rear taller. many people here with their aftermarket choices have gone to sizes that go outside of this stagger, myself included. if you go below the stagger or if you get all four tires equal then you just have to manually turn the controls off (VDC/TCS). If you go above the stagger like I did, then it is harder to get the controls to activate.

do the search cause there is more out there about this. what i gave was just a nutshell so to speak.
