Hey wannaZ what was the turning point for you between the DB and the IF. I am in the same situation exept I havent seen the IF. My mom actually saw it and said she was speechless!!! Is it more eye catching than the DB?? It really sux i might have to order it w/o seeing it in person.

That color is very hot. Is it just me, or does it look copper? Regardless, very nice.

hey carlos, haha sounds so familiar to my situation. I went in there looking for DB, my parents happened to be in town visiting me during that weekend so we went to the dealership together, my mom saw the IF and she said it was a "beeeaautiful color". they had a DB Z there but it was a base model, i saw the two next to each other and the fire color had something i couldn't put my finger on. It was just so complex and it had so much depth. Comparing the DB to the IF side by side the DB looked kinda "plain"? I totally went for the IF right there. I am still happy with my decision, but I also wish sometimes I got the DB because that was the color I had originally wanted as well as the color I always pictured in my mind when I was driving a Z.

As far as if I enjoy the color, I really do enjoy it a lot. I really enjoy being unique and having a color that very few Z's on the road out there have. And I've gotten tons of compliments from strangers when i fill up for gas or wherever. They always ask me what color that is, and when I say interlagos fire, they're kinda like, "huh??" My advice to you is that you should probably stick with the DB or you might regret getting IF without seeing it in person first. You really need to walk around the car and see some of the different shades. I personally think that DB is more of an eye-catcher than IF, everytime I see one I can't help but follow it with my eyes. It is a very flashy color IMO and I think it looks great on the Z.

Right on! I saw the LF 2 weeks ago when I was in Naples just before Wilma hit. BTW I was the only customer in the showroom with along with all the sales people hanging around. The dealership had all their Z cars on lifts, & parked all over the entire service dept. OK...getting back to what I want to say...
The color does change even in the showroom...looking at it from far away, it's great.... and the closer you get it becomes more brownish. It has gold specs and the sales person kept on repeating, " wait to you see it outside in the sunlight"!
What I really liked about the car was the impressive interior, LED tails looked great, I had the salesperson turn the lights on...there bright too! Surprisingly I like the grill too...when reading about the grille I did not have too much faith but after seeing it in person, I personally like it & along with the dark grey strips going across. It's different!! No need to mod this grill??? The wheels did not IMHO impress me that much. lol
