hey guys! just wanted to be one of the first to let you know I have a 2006 enthusiast!!! It's interlagos fire and i couldn't be happier with my color choice even though i originally wanted DB. I have already 80 something miles on it and I can't wait to go to some of the meets. I will update more later, but right now i am pooped from all of the driving i did. I'll post pics tomorrow.

thanks ocdavid! I ended up taking my car for another drive tonight, practicing stick and all of that. I noticed that it is really hard to get into 2nd gear though... i have only driven her up to 4,000 but that is exhilarating in itself. I can't imagine how it feels revving to the other 4,000! anyways I ended up taking some night pics. It is really foggy outside because i live near the beach and it's been pretty crappy weather lately. I plan on posting more pics tomorrow, including some in the sunlight. Oh man, sometimes when the angle hits just right it looks like a dark cherry red, other times it looks like gold, it is just the coolest paint ever!

I took her out for another spin this morning when i woke up at 6am.
i noticed that the clutch engagement point is really high. i know i am just learning still, but i noticed that i seem to rev the hell out of the engine while i'm waiting for the clutch to engage from a stop. Other times when I think i'm pretty comfortable in knowing where it engages, I stall. Reverse feels completely different and i have complete control of the clutch there. But starting at first gear there is so much travel from the floor to the engagement point. Would I be a good canidate for the clutch engagement adjustment mod or is it because i am just learning? Also, how do you get the 1-2nd shifts smoother? I feels really jerky after i let go of the clutch. The only way my 1-2nd shift is smooth is when it takes me a loong *** time to release the clutch. 2-3rd is easier, 3-4 is fine, and 4-5-6 is smooth like butter.
oh also it "thuds" into 2nd gear

You will get used to the high clutch over time and your shifts will become less jerky and more effortless. If you really want to change the engagement point of the clutch, heres a link of a previous thread that explains it all. https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....tch+engagement
