Default Just brought home 2006 350z track silver.

Hey everyone,

I just traded in my 05 white base 350z for the 2006 350z track w/ the staggered rays wheels and brembo brakes. I am almost speechless at how beautiful the new Z is.

I will post more pics tomorrow and try and do a small write up later this weekend.

Initial impressions:

staggered wheels: smoother feel in handling. (less jerky)
clutch: adjusted very low (race style)
brakes: a little mushy (they arent broken in yet)
exhaust: sounds alot deeper than the 05. (gargle = really nice!!!)
handling: took it about 100 on a corner in 6th(breaking in) and holds like its on a rail.
interior: despite all the hating from reviews. it is more planned out and comfortable than the prior.

more to come soon.

here are some pics i took(bad b/c its 2 dark at home. hahah)

hope you enjoy.

thanks. i'm not sure about the new black as my car is 1 of 3(track models) in California for the next few weeks. A guy bought a silverstone gray in long beach and i heard there is a black in palm springs. the silver is just plain beautiful. it goes perfect w/ the wheels.

My girlfreind works for nissan I think I can get my hands on a 06 for a really good deal. Does anyone think its worth it? I paid 22k for my 03 touring with 9k on it. Anyone have opinions?

That's a great looking car you have there! Our local Nissan Dealership has the exact model on their lot and it looks awesome.

I'd really like to pick up a set of those rims!

Congratulations.

What did they give you on the trade-in for your 2005 350Z base model?

Dude you have hgot to be kidding me.
Exhaust: the same as 05
Suspension : the same as 05
handling: the same as 05 although since you had a base your tires werent as good.
Interior: minor changes at best. The biggest changes in 06 are the headlights and tail lights.
Next your going to be saying it definitly feels faster etc. When its actually a slower car.
