Still find it amazing that parents would buy a teenager a car with nearly 300 HP and rear wheel drive. Oh, wait, maybe i should have referred to them as "mommy and daddy." At least you get new rims, i'm sure you deserve them!
Some of you guys are the biggest bunch of a$$e$. She doesn't want your opinion of what her parents did....but of what rims and paint to get. She might be 17 but you all probably aren't much older..judging from how you respond.
Anyways....I'd keep it the exact same color for resale reasons and pick up some nice VOlk GT-C's in RBC color. Thats what I used to have on my previous redline and it looked amazing. Good luck and glad to see that you are ok. Snow and ice can easily get the Z...

You're only 17 and I hope that this is a lesson learned. I’d prefer to see you pursuing your dreams rather than be another highway statistic.

You were driving, right?
By defination it was your fault.
Part of driving is being able to properly adjust to rode conditions.
Not trying to be "jerky" here but if your going to stay in one piece you have to adjust to road conditions & other cars.

Welcome and I'm glad you're ok!! Please be careful out there. I don't even have my Z yet but with all the stories I've read here I'm already paranoid about driving the Z in any snow. Snow and the Z is not a good mix for anyone!!!
Snow and any rwd car is not a good mix....but we also have lower profile performance tires and some don't even have traction control to help out...oh and the 300hp won't help either. Just be careful

I disagree strongly.....
I know of 3 or 4 guys out here that drive their Z during the winter months.... heck they even autoX them in snow as well!!!!
I've driven many types/brands of cars in the snow.... no accidents, no problems.... it realy depends on the driver (somewhat the car too) but mostly the onus is on the driver!
the front bumper, hood, entire left side and back bumper has to be painted. so the body shop said that whatever geico pays, they will paint the entire car except for door jams. i just pay if i want door jams painted. so basically the whole car can be painted stock red or i can add $100 for door jams and change the color.

I would stick with the stock color also. Even if you paint your door jams, you will still be able to see the red when you open your hood or trunk, but that is just my opinion. Sorry to hear about the crash. Good luck, and welcome to the site.
