Just wanted to introduce myself here as no doubt sometime in the future I may need to ask someone something , just joined the UK 350Z board and catching up on all these threads.

I'm in the process of ordering a 06 350z (well once our dealer can take orders) and have not yet decided on the Coupe or the Roadster but hopefully I will soon.

I'm a big drop top fan as your see from most of my previous cars over the years (some pics in links 1999 MX-5, 2000 MR2 Roadster, 2003 Porsche 986 S, 2004 R34 GTR V-Spec, 2005 MR2 Roadster, 2006 350Z ???) and having parted with the Skyline not so long ago I’m missing the power and the Z will fill the gap until my name reaches the top of the very long waiting list for the new GTR But the lines of the Z Roadster are ruined IMHO with the soft-top up (and there’s no optional hardtop, which I normal opt for on my convertibles).

But the shape of the Coupe is just so nice, but come the one sunny day a year we get I’ll know I miss being able to put the roof down? Any way hi to everyone and I hope I can contribute at some point (like lots of pics of the Z when I get it)

LOL, I can't wait for the keys to be mine, once i decide which model i want No doubt the pictures will be up on here come April. I just miss the power of the Skyline so much!, so this should make a nice stop gap

ROADSTER

 

Well after a weekend in the Coupe and a day in the Roadster, i paid my deposit and my 06 Gunmetal Roadster should be here by August and i manged to get them to pretty much match a car supermarket price, saving me aroun about £1k

Missing the Skyline, but looking forward to getting some power back under my right foot

Opps, just noticed in my attempt to keep up with all the Z talk, i missed posting on here a couplke of weeks back So heres the pictures i grabbed while the sun was out B) (yes it does come out in the UK sometimes ) Front relectors will be replaced shortly, don't you worry!!

Z - Badges front and on wheels, JDM IS300 stubby arial, silvered bulbs and US spec fog light housing so far.

Thanks Guys , it has the standard Bose system that comes with the GT pack, so i think thats 1 x sub, 2 mid range, 2 tweeters, but there may be more in there?

Sure does, but not for long, its all getting binned for something a little better looking and will allow the use of more modern technologies

I noticed your Z has a backup sensor. Is that standard in the UK? Does the Roadster in the US have them? I also noticed the outline for the hitch...

 

Ok, but its such an odd shape and size, there cant be that many stereo systems that could fit perfectly in there, are there?
