Talking Hi Im new here, just bought 03 Z

Hi guys, I just purchased a 03 Z this passed weekend. So far its been great, luxury and performance all in one. My Z has about 22k on it, I purchased it from a dealership but only because I had a trade I needed to get rid of which of couse I was a little upside down on. But Im finding that the vehicle appears to have been taken care of and has a few mods already on it like a JWT pop charger, 20" Zinik rims, new tires, and ???. Ill have to dig around the exhaust and engine a little more to see if I can find anymore goodies . Ive always been an american muscle car guy, but I wanted a nice new fast car and started researching everything. I found the Z and test drove a few and discovered they were badass. I love the performance and feel of the car so far. I am a little dissapointed in the low RPM range, it seems to not really pick up till you hit about 3-4K rpm. I just enjoy turning into a streeet in 2nd and then tearing it up, but thats not happening now. It just wants to bog a little until it hits about 3k. Nothing Im sure some 3.93 gears wouldnt take care of. Well I just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. Ill see you guys around the forum. If anybody has any suggestions on how to get some more horses in the lower RPM range or any other affordable mods to help boost HP I would love to hear them. Ill be sure to get some pics posted later on. Later guys,

Yes, welcome! You're in for a treat. I have an '05 ZR with 11.5k on it and still loving it. Just bought the Volk Progressive ME 19" wheels.

I think you need to get some light-weight wheels. Maybe your 20" wheels are sucking up your torque. Just a thought.
