Default New to me Z

Hi all I just bought a 03 base Z with brembos for 20000. I have a few questions though... First I think that there might be something really screwy with my brakes, whenever coming to a complete stop they pulsate and you can hear the abs kick in... it happens every time you come to a complete stop and usually occurs around 13-8 miles per hour... also is there any way to get the tire pressure guages to work with aftermarket rims cuz I bought the car with volk GT-7 racing rims already on it.

Sorry for the long post guys I am stoked to be a part of a close knit group of car enthusiast and Ohhh yea I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

Here is some pics

Congrats and welcome to the family!

Take your car to a shop and get the brakes fixed ASAP.

Headlight covers are gone lol I thought that when I first saw them lol nasty lil buggers though... I had to use 2 bottles of tar off adhesive removal to get the glue off.

Good job

Nice car though. I always loved tint on a silver car. Makes it look 1000x's better.

Default Warranty Doubtful

I hate to say it, but I think your in for a big bill. Usually any wearable parts are not covered under any warranty especially the bumper to bumper warranty.

Most of the Brake components are considered wearable parts and are not covered.

The pulsating is coming from warped rotors. Hopefully all you need to do is have them turned if your lucky. Also with luck the pads are still in good shape. If they need replaced, I would go to Brembo to get the pads and not use aftermarket pads.

In regards to the tire pressure monitor. Your SOL!

Good Luck and Welcome.

I dont think that the rotors are warped its not really a pulse and doesnt do it all the time just when it comes up close to a complete stop... Thats when u can hear the abs kick in and it starts...

i had that happen to my expedition. the brake pads were worn dead and i had a slightly warped rotor in the front. spent $200 to get it all changed out. my ABS didnt kick in though but the brake pulsated pretty good.
