Default Base vs. Enthusiast

Hi Everyone,

I just joined this forum as I am starting to look at the 350Z to replace my 99 C5 vette (love the brutish power, but time to get something a bit more refined). I was just curious if there is a truely huge difference between a Base and an Enthusiast Z. I know the Base does not come with cruise control, traction control, limited slip... This car will be primarily a fun car. Something I take to work on nice days and to cruise around on the weekends. Since this forum seems to have a good group of car nuts, I figured real world comparisons can be found here

Thanks in advance for any input!

As a side note I can take advantage of my company's VPP program so I am not sure how much difference it will make in price between the two.

Actually what I was looking for was if you have a Base, do you really miss the options in the Enthusiast model? I know the differences, but want to get real world opinion. Thanks

Every time I have rented a dodge neon (its the like most basic/ primitive model) they give you at enterprise, I have missed cruise control, power locks etc .. I would certainly give preference to those options .. better safety, less worries .. I would say its worth the money ..but then it depends on what you are looking for in a car .. if you are looking for something which takes you from point A to Point B - then the base model is just fine.

Yes, most on here will tell you that you will miss the differences. Only a few bucks more buys you a lot of goodies. Get the Enthusiast.
