congrats on the Z and Welcome. I know you will be visiting the detailers forum here real soon with that black Z. Take my advice, buy some quick detailer, a california duster, and bunch of microfiber towels. Good luck bud!

yea, i already have all my tools ready. It was either the black or silverstone, however in person the silverstone really looks like a normal silver.....you can never really go wrong with black however.

thanks for the welcome.

Welcome !!. I got a black touring with burnt orange leather 2.5 months ago. Its great !!. Got around 3500 miles on it.

The only thing I have done so far is getting the 3M clear-bra installed. I would very strongly recommend it.

im finalizing all the paper work tomorrow, and they say expected delivery "2-3 days", of course thats taken with a grain of salt, but hopefully soon!

im comming from a modified acura tsx, and plan to keep the Z simple, aside from tints, and a sound system.

Hopefully the mod bug will stay away.

nope. Would have been nice though. Dont really need it. Maybe an aftermarket headunit system that has navigation.

there she is. what a blast. however someone threw ketchup all over my car tonight. The person thought i was sleeping, but i had to leave to take my GF home.

Could not have been on for more than 2 hours, i hosed it off. Any worries?

sucks that people will do those things.

Thanks Yobri. Do you think the ketchup could have done anything to the paint?

I think as long as you hosed it off, you'll be fine. Nice car! I think you got a good deal too because I also paid 300 over invoice for my '06.

Look at it in good lighting... best way to tell what might have been done. I think if it hasn't been on for too long, then it should be fine. But if not, there are products that can help reinvigorate the luster of your clearcoat.

ok cool. My mother went to walk the dog at 12, and it was not there. I got up at 1am, and it was there, couldnt have been more than an hour.

I checked it out in the sun, no harm done.

O well.
