Default Just bought a 2005 350z.

Hey guys, I just bought a used 2005 Super Yellow 350z with 10k on it. Im just wondering what I should checkout as issues.

Searching on here, it seems like all the issues should of been fixed on the 2005 models (manufactured on 01/05). How would I look for tire feathering? Anything else to lookout for?

Thanks!!

Tire feathering is when the inside of the tire wears out much more rapidly than the other parts. Other than that, you should be okay. Congrats, and post some pics!!

Gotta pick it up tonight after work. After I clean her pic's will come

How would I look for the feathering though? Bring to Tires Plus and ask (I got the 3yr alignment plan)? Or jack up the car and give it a good look?

Thanks!!

You'll be able to tell because the inside of the tire will be much smoother, and with time the white threads will begin to appear. This wont become much of a problem untill you decide to get new suspension which will slam your car.

Should I give it an oil change right away even though the dealer said it got one when it came in?

I would. It's never a bad idea to change the oil when you buy a used car. It's cheap insurance IMO.
