Just wanted to say hello and that I have wanted one of these cars for as long as this new age model came out. So at the end of April I bit the bullet and it's the best thing Nissan ever did.

I got the silverstone over black. The wife went to get her hair done and I went to the dealer to oh just look.........YEAH RIGHT...........2 hours later, I was on the way home in the new Z and I have never loved a car like this one. I traded in my 04GT Mustang that only had 10K miles on it with plenty of money sunk in it for power and I have always had performance american muscle. I was just about to take it back to the shop for another 5K in a supercharger and said to myslef that enough is never going to be enough for me. I did the same thing with my corvette and I sold it to get the Mustang. I am turning 41 years old and I said I wanted something I will leave alone for a while, so this was it. Best thing I ever did and I love the car. I will do some things to it. But for the most part I will leave it alone until I pay it off. Sorry to rant on. I just love this car.

Out of curiosity, did you get the Manual or Automatic? If it is Auto, how is the tiptronic on it?

 

nice choice of color. i'm sure your gonna enjoy your new ride....they are totally different driving experience between those cars btw. Did you get the black leather interior?

 

I had to have the 6 speed...........I did not get leather as I wanted just a base model. I was just glad that the 06 model has the offset 35 Aniversary wheels on it. I was trying to get out the door of the dealer as best as I could. I have to say I love the way this thing feels as it's so smooth and tight. My vette handled awesome, but this thing is a whole new ball game. I just can't say enough about it. I was going to go with Black, but my sister has the 05 Aniversary Edition...........HOLY CRAP thats a nice car. But put them right next to eah other and you can not tell the difference, she just paid 12K more for it.
