I paid close to $38 for my GT that has all the bells and whistles, but I traded in a Is300 too so they paid it off. We got the autostick and leather with bose. I like the bose--it's better than the vette's and okay for me. I'be been the IASCA route before I was into performance. The autostick is a compromise for me and my wife.

The insurance was $25 cheaper/month than the Is though

450ish with no money down at about 4.9% for 60 months is around 23-24k--you might want to get a low mileage one in that range. Everybody has a budget. I would have rather had a 427TT dropped in the C5 for the money that bought the Z, but the wifee wouldn't have it

Don't get caught up in the dealer jargon--know what you can/will pay/month and stick to it. Make it know up front that if they can do this............you will sign your name on the dotted line. If not you don't want to waste either party's time. Go near closing towards the end of the week or month is even better--sometimes they are a few cars shy of their sales goals and will let one go to make the goal! Good luck.

Congrats on your new joy, your Z. I have never driven a C5, but I can tell you that our C5 Z06 is a blast to drive, but it is not as fun as the Z. The Z build is a lot better than the Vette, on our car, it seems like the body is not glued evenly (it is not wrecked). Sitting in traffic, there is no quiteness, it sounds like a concrete mixer. The leather in the C5 is not that good, a lot of creases, it just looks worn and I have less than 9k miles in my '03. Like the guy said, you can't compare, but the Z is an all-around car. Love your Zs!!!

Yeah. I went on Oct 31st...it was the end of the week, end of the month, and end of the Blue Book cycle. Every 2 months the dealer gets an adjusted KBB so the next day the car I was looking at would have descreased in value.
