Default Cant decide

I'm due for a new ride and i can't decide btw a 2004 350z or a 2002 audit TT225hp. Any thoughts on why I should pick the Z over the audi. I'm defianlty going to mod the hell out of either one.

The TT is a good car, has AWD, a small back seat, definitely sexy, but is not as fast or as capable on the track as a 350Z is and typically costs more. So you would be forced to either spend about $10K more new depending on options. If you buy used, you will end up buying an older TT with more miles for the same price as a newer, less used Z. If you need a back seat the better comparison would be the G35 Coupe and the TT. I think the G35 comes out on top in that comparison as well and has a nicer interior and more power compared to the TT.

I'm onto my 2nd Z, had a TT before that. Stale handling, can be boosted to be pretty quick in a straight line, but it's remote and no fun compared to the Z. TT is safe in the corners with the 4wd system (which is mostly FWD until slip is detected), but the Z is a drivers car. No contest imo

Thanks for the reponses guys. I'm leaning towards the Z now but i have one last question. How is the ride inside? I have heard that it is really noisy as hell when you drive in a Z. Your opinions are appreciated.

Thanks

I honestly don't think the Z is very loud on the inside. I think most of the people saying that have had a loud exhaust or something. Now if you want to hear something noisy take a ride in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

It's not a Lexus, but it isn't a 4x4. It is a sports car and has a nice sound IMO. You don't have to yell to talk when on the highway, so to me it's okay.

IMO the Z looks a lot nicer and performs better.
Plus it has a lot more power.

Armando, half the noise in a lot of the Z's is due to running the factory RE040's tyres, change them and the noise drops very considerably.

I drove an Audi TT also in amongst other cars when I was looking for a new car 2 years ago, I personally found the TT rather disappointing and gutless. But it's a personal preferance and you are the one driving it. Have fun on the journey.
