Default Finally- out of the IS and into the Z

Lemme tell you- it feels GREAT!

I was really starting to feel like a conservative old man in that Lexus :P

I picked up an 03 with 18k and what seems to be an easily driven car...But what do I know about its promiscuity in its past, right?

I don't plan to mod the hell out of this car, but it typically starts that way..Then we want I/H/E, then that's not enough beacuse we need MORE air through this motor and we need it NOW! So then we add as much bolt-on crap as we can conceive and then it hits us: b00st. The answer to all problems...Until we get the bottom end done for the second time and find ourselves single, greasy and completely burried in this car. But we can sure find manifold leaks in short order :P

Its expensive. It sure is fun though...

Anyway, just wanted to say HEY and that I'm damn glad to be here.

Carry on.

I remember when I bought my IS I swore I'd never get another black car...But I did it to myself anyway. Its like an abusive relationship- Ya' just can't get enough.

The IS was a great car- I will always remain Lexus loyal, I was just ready for a change. I left a type R for an IS, now into the Z, I just feel more comfortable in something that's quick and nimble. Lexus makes a great comfortable, well rounded vehicle.

The new IS's are sweet, but I was ready to ditch 4 doors and back seats.
