60th birthday present from me
I turned 60 on 09/01. Had surgery on 09/05. Got up early on 09/06, took my pain meds and bought an 06 grey roadster with 3700 miles and a healthy price cut. I took more pain meds and waited for my wife to get home.
I owned an 82 280ZX and an 88 300ZX in the past but this is the best yet.

That's a funny sequence of events.
That is great. Hope the surgery went alright. I pretty much bought mine as an early 34th b-day present for myself. I have been thinking of a car for the last 18 months and thinking about a Z for the last 6. Bought my Silverstone 6Spd on 9/2....too much fun! Congratzzzz!

Your story sounds like great material for a "Z" commercial......"patient in a doctors office....doctor writes a prescription...."get this two seater and call me in the morning"!!!!!.........

I did something similar, I was in the hospital for 6 days with a blood clot in my leg which broke and went into both my lungs, was not pretty... After that near death experience I went out a week later and bought a Roadster, figure its time to have some fun in life before it ends...
