New to the Forum.
Hey, I've sorta made a few posts without really introducing myself.
I bought my 03 Performance Trim (MT) Silver Frost Metallic Z when I was 18, now 19. Mommy and daddy didn't help if anyone is wondering.
Moving on, I've had the car long enough to learn how it drives. I've driven sticks and fast cars since I was a kid on a farm. I've mastered the new GTO's, the 80's styled vette's, and as much of a muscle fan as I was (am), I settled on the Z for the looks and performance in an affordable package.
Mods include JWT popcharger, borla true duals, and (as of next tuesday), Kinetix test pipes. It's an '03 engine with an '06 tranny, free thanks to warranty. I had the rear axle click, window motor, etc... pretty much any Z problem you could think of, but I reacted proactively about it and got it fixed good and proper.
I am parking the car for the winter, working on it while I use a Bimmer for transportation to and from work, but I will definately be running it around on the good days to keep it fresh.
I won't show any pics since the body is bone stock. Doesn't even have the factory lips on it. I plan on keeping it that way, too. Sort of a willpower driven off of my distaste for making cars more show than go. But if that changes, I'll upload a few (not that it will look that great next to some of your guys' rides, heh)
